THE QUICKER WAY
The drive from Toronto Pearson Airport to Lune 1860 is typically about 2.5 hours. For a comfortable break before the rural stretch, we recommend stopping at the ONroute Cambridge on Highway 401, located around the halfway point and just before the exit to Highway 8. Beyond this turn, the route winds through quiet country roads with minimal evening lighting and few rest stops. It is a tranquil approach, framed by open fields and gentle farmland scenery.

- Use the right 2 lanes to take the ON-8 exit toward Kitchener/Waterloo.
- Continue onto Hwy 8 W/ON-8 W.
- Use the right lane to merge onto Hwy 8 W/ON-7/ON-8 W toward Stratford.
- Turn right onto Nafziger Rd/Regional Rd 5.
- Turn left onto Erbs Rd (signs for Regional Road 9/Erb's Road).
- Continue onto Wilmot Easthope Rd/Perth County Line 43.
- Turn right onto Perth County Rd 119 (signs for County Road 119/Perth).
- Turn left onto Line 44/Perth County Line 44 (signs for County Rd 44/Bornholm).
- Continue onto Winthrop Rd/County Rd 17.
- Turn right onto Base Line/County Rd 8.
- Turn left onto Londesboro Rd/County Rd 15.
- Turn left onto Benmiller Line/County Rd 1.
- Turn right onto Hwy 8 W/ON-8 W until you arrive at Lune.
A SMALL SCENIC DETOUR
Ontario West has many charming towns to explore on the way to Lune 1860. If you have about twelve extra minutes, consider taking the slight detour through the town of Stratford. Known for its inviting culinary and chocolate scene, Stratford offers a lovely pause in your journey. This route also provides more options for restaurants, cafés, and gas stations as you pass through several small towns. And who knows you might even cross paths with Bieber!
